Shape the next generation of defence aviation maintainers & pass on what you've learnt.
We're looking for an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Avionics Technician, or Aviation Tradesperson to train and mentor the next generation of maintainers supporting the RAAF's C-27J Spartan fleet.
This is a hands-on training role where you'll deliver classroom and practical training, assess students, maintain course material, and work closely with serving RAAF personnel.
What You'll Be Doing

Delivering technical training to aircraft maintenance personnel in both classroom and practical environments.

Assessing student competency and providing coaching and mentorship.

Preparing and delivering training and assessments in accordance with approved training programs.

Maintaining and improving courseware, learning materials, and training resources.

Supporting students throughout their learning journey and ensuring training outcomes are achieved.

Maintaining accurate training records and documentation.
-
Working closely with Defence personnel and industry stakeholders to support operational requirements and training excellence.

Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the training environment.

About You
We're looking for an experienced aviation professional who enjoys sharing knowledge and can confidently engage with students and Defence stakeholders.

Certificate IV Aeroskills (Mechanical or Avionics).

Strong technical knowledge of aircraft maintenance practices and systems.
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance.
Highly Regarded

Defence aviation experience.
-
Certificate IV Training & Assessment (TAE) or equivalent.
