The Opportunity
Reporting to the Group Manager - Human Resources, the HRBP provides both strategic and operational HR leadership across a diverse portfolio of agribusiness operations. Partnering closely with senior leaders, you will develop and implement people strategies that support business objectives, strengthen leadership capability, and drive workforce performance across a complex multi-site environment. As a trusted advisor, you will play a key role in influencing organisational outcomes through effective workforce planning, organisational design, employee relations management, and change leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with leaders to develop, implement and embed people strategies aligned with business objectives and operational requirements.

Act as a trusted advisor on workforce planning, organisational effectiveness, talent management, leadership capability and people-related risk.

Support organisational design, workforce optimisation and succession planning initiatives that enable business growth and operational performance.

Lead the resolution of complex employee relations matters, including investigations, grievances, disciplinary processes and high-risk performance issues.

Provide expert advice on the interpretation and application of employment legislation, Modern Awards, enterprise agreements and company policies.

Partner with leaders to proactively manage workplace issues and minimise organisational risk.

Build leadership capability through coaching, guidance and targeted development support, enabling leaders to confidently manage their teams and drive performance.

Lead the development, review and implementation of HR policies, frameworks and procedures that support business objectives and legislative requirements.

Oversee key people processes across the employee lifecycle, ensuring consistency, effectiveness and alignment with organisational goals.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline or relevant experience.

Demonstrated experience in a Human Resources Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor, or similar strategic HR role.

Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards, industrial relations frameworks, and contemporary HR practices.

Proven ability to build trusted partnerships with leaders and influence decision-making across all levels of an organisation.

Experience managing complex employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.
