Community Paediatric Occupational Therapist Wanted!

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive OT assessments and develop individualised intervention plans for paediatric clients
- Deliver evidence-based therapy across home, school, and community settings
- Provide support for a range of presentations including developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing differences, fine and gross motor difficulties, and participation in daily occupations
- Plan and facilitate NDIS-funded supports in line with participants’ goals and plans
- Prepare high-quality NDIS reports including Initial, Progress, and Functional Capacity Assessment reports
- Liaise and collaborate with families, educators, support coordinators, and allied health professionals
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguards requirements
- Participate in weekly team supervision and planning meetings
- Contribute to the team’s professional learning community and peer support culture

Selection Criteria
Essential
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current registration with Occupational Therapy Australia (OTA) and AHPRA
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) or equivalent, and National Police Check
- Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong commitment to person-centred, family-focused practice
Desirable
- Experience or placement in paediatric or community OT settings
- Familiarity with NDIS processes, funding categories, and report writing

Pay: $80.00 – $110.00 per hour
