Your opportunity:
This role provides generalist occupational therapy clinical services, including, but not limited to, home modifications, hands/upper limb rehabilitation, paediatrics, orthopaedic conditions, mobility and daily living aids equipment prescription, neurological disorders, burns, oedema, falls prevention, and aged and acute care; to eligible clients across the age continuum.
The Occupational Therapist is based at Gayndah Health Service and travels regularly to supply quality inpatient, outpatient and health promotion services across rural hospitals/ multipurpose facilities in the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
This position is a rural generalist training position and has a dedicated 0.1FTE of the work role is dedicated to training and development activities. The incumbent undertakes an approved Rural Generalist Education Program.
Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment for 12 months with the possibility of extension.

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $132,567 p.a., comprising salary between $79,051 - $116,189 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment for 12 months with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
