Northern Rivers In Home Care is supporting a caring family based in Miami, QLD who are seeking a reliable and nurturing educator to provide in-home care for their 2-year-old child. The family values a calm, safe, and engaging environment where their child can feel secure and supported while learning and developing through everyday play and routines. They are looking for an educator who can build a positive and trusting relationship with their child and support their early development in a consistent and responsive way.
The ideal educator is a warm, patient, and experienced early childhood educator who has strong experience working with toddlers. They will be confident providing responsive care, supporting early learning through play, and promoting emotional security and developmentally appropriate experiences. The educator will be flexible, reliable, and comfortable with casual weekend shifts, as well as occasional weekday care when required. A strong commitment to child safety, professionalism, and respectful communication with the family is essential.
Days and Hours Required
- Saturday or Sunday (preferred)
- Shifts ranging from 3 to 7 hours
- Occasional weekday shifts when the family is attending training
Hourly Rate
$40.00 per hour
Essential Criteria
- Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Working With Children Check (QLD Blue Card)
- National Police Clearance (within last 6 months)
- Geccko Child Safety Training
- Child Protection Training (within last 2 years)
- ABN (self-employed contractor role)
- Public Liability Insurance (once placed)
- Medical clearance
- PRODA
- eLearning (ACECQA In Home Care)
