Since 1974, we’ve provided our Members with financial and business solutions to make running a business easier. Our flagship Trade Account offers instant credit with over 1600 Preferred Suppliers, simplified monthly expenses, and a generous rewards program.

The role
In this phone-based sales role, you'll build and manage your own portfolio of Capricorn Members, identifying new opportunities, retaining existing business, and delivering tailored risk solutions. You'll sell a unique mix of Capricorn Mutual and insurance broking products, giving you a competitive advantage and a compelling value proposition for every member conversation.
In addition to a competitive base salary, this role is eligible for Sales Incentive Plan, providing the opportunity to be rewarded for your performance and success.
What you’ll do
- Grow and manage your own portfolio of Capricorn members

Win new business through referrals, prospecting and member engagement

Identify and place the right protection/insurance solutions for members

Drive retention through proactive renewal reviews

Build strong relationships with members and underwriting partners

Deliver outstanding service and member experiences

Achieve sales, retention and activity targets

Maintain compliant and accurate records across our systems
What you’ll bring
- Strong sales experience in a target-driven environment
- Proven ability to generate new business and hit revenue targets
- Confidence working in an outbound, phone-based role
- Experience managing a portfolio with renewal responsibility
- Excellent time management
- Strong relationship-building skills and establishing trust without being face-to-face
- Commercial mindset, you understand how to grow a book of business
- A team player who shares knowledge and celebrates success
- Experience in insurance, preferably in account management.
