Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator to join our team. This is a part-time role working 2-3 days per week and based out of our Winthrop and Harrisdale practices. In this vital role, you will support our patients on their orthodontic journey, ensuring a seamless experience from initial consultation through treatment planning and follow-up. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will motivate patients, educate them about their orthodontic options, and coordinate their care with precision. Responsibilities
- Welcome patients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow efficiently to maximise practice productivity.
- Educate patients about orthodontic treatment options, procedures, and expected outcomes using clear, positive communication.
- Coordinate treatment plans with orthodontists and assist in explaining financial arrangements and insurance benefits to patients.
- Prepare and review patient records, ensuring all medical and dental histories are accurate and up-to-date.
- Support patients throughout their treatment journey by providing pre-treatment instructions, appointment reminders, and follow-up care guidance.
- Maintain organised documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and financial transactions in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional patient experiences.
Experience
- Prior experience in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred, especially within orthodontics or dentistry.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical administrative support enhances your ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Proven office experience demonstrating strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities.
- Knowledge of dental office procedures, insurance processing, and appointment scheduling systems is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate patients and foster a welcoming environment.
