WISE are looking for an experienced Business Support Officer (NDIS) who will provide high-quality administrative, data management, and operational support to the NDIS team.
You will be responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient handling of customer information, service scheduling, invoicing, and reporting. This will include maintaining data integrity across systems; supporting effective service delivery and financial sustainability through accurate claiming and debtor management, including facilitating clear communication between our stakeholders.
The role of Business Support Officer (NDIS) will also contribute to continuous improvement by identifying system and process enhancements. This will ensure compliance with relevant legislation and privacy principles, which will support the coordination of NDIS services to enable a seamless customer experiences and organisational effectiveness through providing a seamless support service.
The role is permanent Part-time, working 3 days a week.
You will:
- Ensure accurate data entry is compliant with Privacy Principle
- Ensure relevant information is collected, kept current within NDIS at WISE systems
- Ensure timely invoicing, data entry, data management and reporting
- Ensure accuracy of claiming and assist in the management of Ageing Debtors
- Prepare documentation and reports as required
- Liaise and collaborate with the NDIS Manager in the provision of administrative support and reporting on debtor management
- Create and coordinate clear communication processes and regularly provide required team members updates and reminders
- Liaise and work effectively with key stakeholders, including customers and other departments and divisions within WISE
- Recommend improvements for optimization of NDIS at WISE systems and contribute to the continuous improvement of WISE systems and processes
Keep up-to-date with developments in the NDIS industry including relevant funding contracts/contractual requirements, relevant legislation and WISE policies and procedures

What we are looking for:
- Demonstrated ability in a customer service focused role
- Strong communication, interpersonal and computer literacy skills with the ability to problem solve in a constructive and collaborative way
- Strong organisational, prioritization and time management skills
- A sound understanding of disability and demonstrated ability to engage with people with a disability
- An understanding of impacts of living with disability in social relationships, independent living, daily needs, physical health, vocational and employment needs of these clients
- High attention to detail, to work independently as well as in a team environment
Experience with Case Management software i.e. Lumary, Deputy etc (Desirable)
