Hiring – Food Runner (Full-Time)
---- Chadstone Shopping Centre, Victoria
A premium Chinese restaurant opening soon at Chadstone Shopping Centre is seeking a Full-Time Food Runner to join our opening team.
Shift Time:
----- Between 11:00am – 11:00pm (Monday to Sunday rotating roster) - if you couldn't do it shifts both day and night please don't apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver food from kitchen to tables efficiently and accurately
Carry heavy dishes and large plates (may exceed 10kg, using both hands)
Maintain fast-paced service during busy periods
Clear used plates and deliver them to the washing area
Cutlery polishing and general support duties during downtime
Assist floor team with additional tasks as required
Important Notes:
This is a physically demanding role with long hours of walking and standing
Applicants must be physically fit and able to safely carry heavy items
Must be outgoing, confident, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
No shyness required – strong teamwork and communication is essential
Language Requirement (Priority):
Cantonese or Mandarin speaking preferred
English communication required
Training Requirement:
All successful applicants are required to complete the free online food safety course:
*** DoFoodSafely (online course – free)
This is a basic food handling awareness course provided by the Victorian Government.
