Kalyra is seeking Registered Nurses for all Residential locations - Belair, Woodcroft and McLaren Vale.
As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality clinical and personal care to residents, supporting their independence and enhancing their quality of life. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and may be required to act as Shift Leader, providing operational leadership during your shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical care in accordance with policies, procedures, and best practice standards.
- Administer medications and complete wound care.
- Maintain and update resident care plans and documentation.
- Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses and care staff.
- Liaise with residents, families, and health professionals.
- Promote a safe working environment and act as Senior First Aid Officer or Chief Fire Warden when required.
- Lead shifts as required, managing staff allocation and responding to resident needs.
Essential Qualifications & Certifications:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Participate in the annual Influenza vaccination program, (unless a medical exemption)

Required Knowledge:
- Sound understanding of current issues in the aged care industry.
- Basic knowledge of the Commonwealth Department responsible for Aged Care and relevant legislation.
- Commitment to continuous quality improvement.
- Understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and safe work practices.
- Familiarity with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards of Practice.
- Basic knowledge of electronic records and information management systems (or willingness to learn).
Desirable Experience:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and electronic care systems.
