Cleaner – Residential and Community Cleaning Services

About the Role
We are currently seeking reliable, hardworking and detail-focused cleaners to join our growing cleaning services team.
In this role, you will provide high-quality cleaning services in private homes, supported accommodation, community settings and other approved locations. You will help maintain clean, safe, hygienic and comfortable environments for our clients.
This position is suitable for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently and is committed to providing respectful and professional service.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your duties may include:
- General household and residential cleaning
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- Cleaning toilets, showers, sinks and mirrors
- Changing bed linen and making beds
- Laundry, folding and light ironing
- Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen areas
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
- Deep cleaning and detailed cleaning when required
- Cleaning supported accommodation and community-based properties
- Restocking cleaning products and supplies
- Following cleaning schedules, checklists and client instructions
- Using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
- Reporting hazards, property damage, maintenance concerns or incidents
- Maintaining client privacy, dignity and confidentiality
- Ensuring all cleaning work is completed to a high professional standard

Previous experience in residential, commercial, aged care, disability, healthcare, hotel or community cleaning will be highly regarded. Training may be provided to suitable applicants who demonstrate the right attitude and commitment.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have, or be willing to obtain:
- The right to work in Australia
- A current Australian driver licence
- A reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- A current National Police Check
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
- A Working with Children Check, where required
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination, where required
- Current seasonal influenza vaccination, where required
- The physical capacity to safely perform cleaning duties, including bending, lifting, carrying, vacuuming and mopping
- A willingness to travel between client locations
Availability
Applicants must be available to work flexible rostered hours, which may include:
- Morning shifts
- Day shifts
- Afternoon shifts
- Evening shifts
- Monday to Sunday
- Weekends
- Public holidays
- On-call shifts
- Split shifts, where required
