The Opportunity
Our Superannuation team is seeking an SMSF Accountant with approximately 2–3 years demonstrated experience to join us on a full-time basis. Working in a supportive team, you will gain hands-on experience across SMSF compliance, reporting and administration, while building strong technical capability and client relationships in a specialist superannuation environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completion of SMSF financial statements and income tax returns
- Preparation of pension commencement documents and member balances calculations
- Administration of pensions
- Preparation of rollover statements and transfer balance account reports
- Assisting with SMSF windups
- Liaising with SMSF Auditors
- Proactively communicating with clients by phone and email
Skills and Experiences:
What Makes You ‘Just Right’
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a similar discipline
- Demonstrated experience (2 - 3 years)
- Be passionate about helping clients
- Be a problem solver, with exceptional attention to detail to produce high quality work
- Display a high-level of professionalism, enthusiasm and conscientiousness
- Be a team player with the ability to form relationships easily internally and externally
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
