About Remote EMS
Remote EMS provides professional event medical services across the Mid North Coast and surrounding regions. We support a range of community, sporting, motorsport, outdoor and high-risk events.
Due to continued growth and an increasing event schedule, we are seeking experienced and reliable paramedics to join our casual event medical team.
About the Role
As an Event Paramedic, you will provide patient-centred clinical care at events throughout the Mid North Coast. You will work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary medical team, depending on the size and risk profile of the event.
The role may involve managing minor injuries, medical presentations, trauma, resuscitation and other time-critical incidents until the patient can be safely discharged, referred or transferred to statutory ambulance services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional clinical assessment and treatment at events.
- Manage medical emergencies within your authorised scope of practice.
- Deliver advanced life support and resuscitation where required.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient care records.
- Communicate effectively with event organisers, team members and emergency services.
- Assist with the preparation, checking and maintenance of medical equipment.
- Support medics, students and other clinical team members when appropriate.
- Follow Remote EMS clinical practice guidelines, medication protocols and operational procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent Remote EMS positively at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Paramedic.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
- Current Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain one.
- Current unrestricted driver licence.
- Strong communication, teamwork and clinical decision-making skills.
- Ability to work weekends, early mornings, evenings and public holidays.
- Ability to work professionally in outdoor, remote and high-pressure environments.
Desirable Experience
- Previous on-road ambulance or emergency response experience.
- Event medical, industrial, motorsport or remote-area experience.
- Experience managing trauma and high-acuity medical presentations.
- Familiarity with cardiac monitoring, manual defibrillation, airway management and advanced life support equipment.

Pay: $50.00 – $100.00 per hour
