Our brand-new, world class Early Learning Centre at Edmondson Park centre is a 140 places centre with state-of-the-art facilities and both indoor and outdoor areas. We have an amazing community including a team of supportive owners, dedicated and passionate educators and friendly families and children. Ignite Early Learning Centres are an established, family-owned business who have been operating since 2012.
We have over 20 years’ experience within the childcare industry, with 4 of our centres located in Sydney. We are looking for a passionate and motivated Diploma Qualified Room Leader to join our growing team 5 days per week in a permanent full-time capacity. Our high-quality education and care services are beautifully designed, boasting strong occupancy and a positive work environment.
The Role. As a Diploma Qualified Assistant, your primary focus will be assisting the Room Leader in ensuring Children Safety, the Curriculum, Supporting the trainees in the room and pushing the centre to reach an exceeding level of service through support and motivation.

Key Responsibility Areas
Planning and Programming
Observation management
Oversee daily room practices
Ensure all compliance documentation is up to date
Provide support and motivation to the centre staff
Lead and develop a core group of educators
Min Requirement
Completed a Diploma of Children’s Services or equivalent (Recognised by ACECQA)
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
A current Working with Children Check and NSW Police Check
A thorough working knowledge of Children’s services regulation, The Early Years Learning Framework and The National Quality Framework
Passion and ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre for children, families and colleagues
Strong written and clearly spoken communication skills
Your personal teaching philosophy
Child protection certificate (CHCPRTOOO1/2) or willing to obtain
