Male Support Worker – Logan (Peer-Aligned Support)
We’re looking for support workers in the Logan area to support multiple participants who would benefit from a relatable, peer-aligned worker.
About the Role:
The participant is a female who would feel most comfortable with someone of a similar age group to assist with personal care, daily living, and community-based social activities. The role is about building trust, connection, and shared interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support with daily activities and personal care
- Encourage community participation and social engagement
- Promote independence and positive routines
- Collaborate with the participant’s care team to meet NDIS goals
About You:
- Empathetic, reliable, and good at building rapport
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience in disability support is advantageous
Essential Requirements:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Relevant training (or willingness to complete)
