genU is looking for a passionate & enthusiastic Physical Health & Wellbeing Consultant to join our team! In the role you'll initial assessments and develop and monitor individualised exercise programs at one of our sites in Fremantle, ultimately with the goal of supporting people and enabling great health outcomes! This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who has just graduated or has a couple of years of experience and is looking to step into a dynamic and impactful role in a team with lots of support and mentorship available, as well as a great team vibe.

What you’ll do
As a Physical Health & Wellbeing Consultant in our Matchworks team you’ll:
- Work with individuals on a one-to-one basis and in groups on site to support those experiencing physical health and or wellbeing concerns.
- Conducting a range of assessments including functional capacity evaluation, musculoskeletal and fitness, worksite and ergonomic.
- Prescribe clinical exercise with a focus on work conditioning and strengthening modelled on client focused short term interventions.
- Delivering psycho-educational, work conditioning, manual handling, chronic pain management and strengthening group-based program.
What you’ll bring
- Accredited Exercise Physiologist registered with ESSA (Exercise and Sports Science Australia)
or an AHPRA registered Physiotherapist.
- A demonstrated ability to assess and manage a diverse range of physical health conditions.
- Great people skills and the ability to conduct engaging group and indivual work face-to-face, online with a broad and diverse group of clients.
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
