About Us Daily Chef is a fun, growing FMCG food manufacturer in Forestdale, making delicious convenience meals for customers across Perth. We're after enthusiastic Kitchen Hands to join our production kitchen team.
About the Role As a Kitchen Hand, you'll support meal preparation and cooking processes on a commercial scale, helping produce our range of convenience meals to a high standard of quality and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food prep, cooking and assembly of meal components
- Follow recipes and standard operating procedures accurately
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety (HACCP)
- Wash and sanitise kitchen equipment and work areas
- Support the wider kitchen and production team to meet daily targets
- Handle ingredients and finished product safely and efficiently
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a commercial kitchen, food prep or food manufacturing environment preferred
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate a bonus (not essential)
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced kitchen
- Reliable, hygiene-conscious and a team player
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
- Available for early starts and flexible shifts
