Disability Support Worker – Immediate Start
AusDream Disability Care Pty Ltd is seeking reliable, compassionate and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team for immediate-start opportunities across Adelaide.
We currently have opportunities supporting participants with different support needs, including:
Support Areas
In-Home & Community Support
- In-home support and daily living activities
- Meal preparation and cooking
- Community participation
- Supporting independence and skill development
- Knowledge and experience with Traditional Chinese food and cooking is highly desirable
Psychosocial Disability Support
- In-home and community-based support
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and daily routines
- Community participation and social engagement
- Capacity building and development of independence
- Trauma-informed training and experience supporting people with psychosocial disability is required
About You
We are looking for Support Workers who are:
- Experienced in disability or community support
- Person-centred, patient and respectful
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Confident working independently
- Able to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
- Committed to supporting participant choice, dignity and independence
- Willing and able to travel reasonable distances across Adelaide, including approximately 40–55 km where required
- Available for an immediate start
Essential Requirements
- Relevant disability support experience
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
- Working with Children Check, where applicable
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Relevant right to work in Australia
- Trauma-informed training/experience for psychosocial disability support roles
