We're looking for a motivated Trade Assistant to join our Dandenong workshop team. Working throughout the branch, you'll support skilled tradespeople who repair and restore critical Caterpillar components that keep our customers operating.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with tools, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to build a long-term career with an industry leader.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with workshop departments with repair activities
- Preparing, cleaning and moving components throughout the workshop
- Operating overhead cranes, forklifts and workshop equipment (where licensed)
- Organising parts, tooling and maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- Completing deliveries and collections to customers and other William Adams branches as required
- Supporting workshop operations while following all safety and quality procedures
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- Experience working in a workshop, manufacturing or mechanical environment (preferred)
- A current driver's licence
- Forklift licence (preferred)
- A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
