The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced Heavy Rigid (HR) licensed driver for our waste collection services in Greenacre (2190) and servicing the Sutherland and Canada Bay councils . This full-time role operates Monday to Friday, starting from 4:00 AM.
As our driver, you will provide efficient waste collection services while maintaining safety and service excellence. You must have a valid HR licence, strong work ethic, and professional approach.

What you'll be responsible for
Safely operate waste and recycling collection vehicles (Side & Rear Loaders) on daily kerbside collection routes
Transport collected waste to designated disposal and recycling facilities
Maintain efficient collection schedules to service established long-term contracts
Uphold workplace health and safety standards across all operations
Conduct daily pre-start and post-shift vehicle inspections
Perform basic maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles operate at peak performance
Maintain a secure and compliant working environment
Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
What you'll need to be successful
HR licence as a minimum requirement
Experience in the waste industry is a bonus but not essential
Positive attitude
Safety conscious mindset
