Position summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Developer Programmer to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in database development, cloud technologies, data management, and programming. You will work closely with cybersecurity professionals to develop, maintain, and optimize secure software solutions that support our business and security operations.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy solving technical challenges, building scalable applications, and working in a security-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications supporting cybersecurity operations.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Work with cloud platforms to deploy, maintain, and enhance secure applications and services.
- Support data warehousing initiatives, including ETL processes, data integration, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain applications using Java and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and development teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot application, database, and cloud-related issues.
- Follow secure coding standards and software development best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Experience working with Oracle SQL or similar relational databases.
- Understanding of cloud computing platforms and cloud-based application deployment.
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data integration.
- Basic to intermediate Java programming skills.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and version control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure software development practices.
- Exposure to Linux/Unix environments.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, web services, or microservices architecture.
- Experience with scripting languages is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Relevant certifications in cloud technologies, databases, or cybersecurity are a plus.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
