We are seeking a skilled and motivated Beauty Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis.
Salary
We offer AUD $80,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation for suitable candidates.
About the Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Consult with clients to assess nail conditions, treatment requirements and suitability of beauty treatments and products.
- Perform specialised manicure and pedicure services, including nail shaping, cuticle care, buffing and polish application.
- Apply gel polish, acrylic nails, nail extensions, overlays and other nail enhancement treatments in accordance with salon standards.
- Create decorative nail art and customised nail designs based on client preferences and current industry trends.
- Assess the condition of clients’ hands, feet and nails and recommend appropriate treatments and aftercare solutions.
- Perform specialised hand and foot beauty treatments to improve the appearance and condition of clients’ hands, feet and nails.
- Apply cosmetic and treatment products to maintain and enhance the appearance and condition of clients’ hands, feet and nails.
- Provide advice on nail care, beauty products and home maintenance routines to support ongoing treatment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate client treatment records, including treatment history, product usage and aftercare recommendations.
- Maintain strict hygiene, infection control and workplace health and safety standards, including sterilising tools and maintaining treatment areas.
- Keep up to date with current nail care techniques, products and industry developments to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
Skills and Qualifications
- Certificate III in Beauty Services, Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy, or higher qualification in Beauty Therapy or a closely related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as a Beauty Therapist.
- Demonstrated experience in manicure, pedicure, acrylic nails, gel nails, nail enhancements and nail art services.
- Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, beauty products, infection control and hygiene practices.
- Ability to assess client treatment requirements and provide appropriate beauty treatment recommendations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced salon environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional salon team.
