As a Barista at Cubes.Co, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for Members, Visitors, and Clients. You will be responsible for delivering consistently high-quality coffee and beverages while providing exceptional customer service and hospitality throughout the centre.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about coffee, enjoys engaging with people, and takes pride in creating memorable customer experiences. You will primarily support the Carlton location and may provide assistance across multiple Victorian centres as required.
Barista & Hospitality Services
- Prepare and serve high-quality specialty coffee, teas, and other beverages.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and hospitality to Members, Visitors, and Clients.
- Manage coffee and beverage service requirements for meetings, events, and client visits.
- Ensure café, kitchen, and hospitality areas are clean, organised, and fully stocked.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation.
- Monitor coffee supplies and hospitality stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory management.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Customer Experience
- Create a welcoming and positive atmosphere for all customers.
- Build strong relationships with Members and develop an understanding of their preferences and needs.
- Respond to customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure every interaction reflects a high standard of hospitality and service excellence.
- Handle customer feedback and requests in a friendly and solutions-focused manner.
Events & Hospitality Support
- Provide beverage and hospitality services for centre events, meetings, and networking functions.
- Assist with event setup, service delivery, and pack-down activities.
- Support community engagement initiatives through exceptional hospitality experiences.
Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with the Happiness Team and other staff members.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and professional workplace culture.
- Assist with hospitality services across multiple locations when required.
- Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork to meet operational requirements.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ Barista experience in a café, hospitality, or customer-facing environment.
- Proven ability to prepare high-quality specialty coffee consistently and efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and milk texturing.
- Passion for customer service and hospitality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Professional presentation and a positive, can-do attitude.
