DGL Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) to lead our HSEQ function across the Group.
We are seeking an experienced Systems Data Analyst to join our team on a permanent full-time basis, with an immediate start available. While this role is being advertised as a permanent opportunity, we are also open to offering a fixed-term contract if this is preferred by the successful candidate.
Working closely with the Head of HSE, management and key stakeholders, you will deliver high-quality analysis and actionable insights, develop KPIs and dashboards, and identify performance trends, risks and opportunities to support HSE, Enterprise Risk Management and data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
Work with the management team to develop KPIs and strategic measures that support performance monitoring and data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
Partner with stakeholders at all levels to understand reporting requirements, business challenges and the purpose behind data needs.
Gather, analyse and interpret data across multiple systems, including Finance, HSE, Quality, Maintenance and Inventory Management systems.
Develop, maintain and continuously improve Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations to provide clear and meaningful performance insights.
Identify trends, patterns, risks, inefficiencies and opportunities to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Support leadership and business teams with planning, forecasting, performance monitoring and continuous improvement activities.
Act as administrator and custodian of HSE and Enterprise Risk systems, including employee inductions, user access and liaison with system providers.
Use SQL databases to extract, validate and transform data while supporting accurate and reliable reporting.
Work closely with the Head of IT to maintain data integrity, accuracy and consistency, while supporting data governance and compliance requirements.
Support the development of scalable data models and reporting frameworks and identify opportunities to improve systems, reporting processes and efficiency.
You are a strategic and influential leader with extensive experience managing HSEQ functions within complex, high-risk environments.
You will bring:
Degree-level education in a relevant discipline.
Approximately 5+ years' experience in senior data analysis, business insights or a related role.
Proven ability to translate complex datasets into clear and actionable business insights.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Experience working cross-functionally within dynamic business environments.
Experience using SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
Advanced Power BI and Excel skills for data analysis, dashboard development and reporting.
Good understanding of data protection, governance and compliance principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to identify connections across strategic initiatives and business plans.
Ability to present analysis and insights appropriately to different audiences.
Ability to work independently against agreed objectives and work plans.
