As a general volunteer you will be an ambassador for the centre. In doing so, your main tasks will be -
- Attend to the gallery shop sales and associated procedures as outlined in the operations manuals.
- Engage with and guide visitors through the gallery/workshops areas in a positive way.
- Develop an understanding of and positively promote and encourage participation in events relating the centre.
- Ensure that the centre is secure and safe.
- Maintain the centre in a clean and tidy way so that it presents well to the public
- Notify appropriate people of any issues arising during your shift
- Working with Children Check

- Times: Mornings, Afternoons
- The centre is open 7 days a week from 10 am to 4 pm. Volunteer shifts are usually from 10 am to 1 pm and 1 pm to 4 pm. It is hoped that volunteers can do half a day a week or fortnight.
