Roles and responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced SAP CAR Consultant in Point-of-Sale Data Transfer & Audit (POSDTA) functionality. This role demands strong functional and technical understanding of Retail POS transaction processing centrally using standard and custom functionalities of SAP CAR POSDTA module. Having good understanding of master data integration with ECC/S4HANA systems, Sales data aggregation and federation to various downstream systems, mastering inventory data. Knowledge of SAP CAR POSDTA configuration, master & transactional data adjustments required during ECC to S4H upgrades. Collaboration with up/down SAP & Non-SAP systems, business & IT teams to successfully process online/brick & mortar sales end to end.
- Lead end-to-end SAP CAR POSDTA, Inventory visibility (SOH) brown-field migration activities.
- Adjust & FUT the configuration, master/transactions data flows as per S4HANA requirements
- Validate data flows & integrations between SAP CAR and upstream/downstream systems (e.g., SAP ECC/S4, F&R, BW, POS).
- Provide guidance during System/UAT testing scenario, test case preparation & execution
- Mentor junior consultants and provide technical leadership across various phases of the migration process.
- Ensure solution scalability, performance, and alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver the project as per the customer PMO quality requirements and timelines.
- 8+ years of SAP Retail experience, with 4+ years in SAP CAR POSDTA.
- Proven track record of hands-on experience in understanding, Techno-functionality of the CAR-POSDTA, SOH solution, end to end testing
- Strong understanding of Retail Sales processing, SLT replication & HANA based analytics
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
