About the Position:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented People and Capability Administrator to join our Corporate Services team based at our Lathlain Head Office.
This is a full-time, fixed term contract for 12 months, with the opportunity to extend or renew.
Reporting to the Manager - People and Capability, this role plays a key part in supporting the Foundation’s compliance obligations and delivering efficient, high-quality People and Capability support across the organisation.
The role is responsible for coordinating compliance training, managing employee clearances and records, supporting recruitment and onboarding activities, and contributing to employee wellbeing and WHS initiatives. You will also act as a key point of contact for employees, providing support across training, compliance, and HR processes.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Coordinate compliance training, including scheduling, bookings, provider liaison, and staff communication
- Maintain and update the compliance training calendar across the organisation
- Manage employee clearances and certifications, including applications, renewals and expiry tracking
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee and compliance records across HR systems, including employee clearances, compliance documentation, and conflict of interest registers
- Prepare and distribute training materials and support training sessions
- Respond to queries relating to training, compliance, WHS, employee benefits, and wellbeing
- Support WHS processes, wellbeing initiatives, and maintain workplace injury and incident registers
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities, including interview coordination, reference checks and documentation
- Prepare and contribute to People and Capability reporting, including compliance, training, and organisational reporting requirements
- Provide administrative support to the People and Capability function, including maintaining policies, procedures, and correspondence
- Provide reception cover at Head Office as required
Skills and Experience:
To be suitable for this role you will need to demonstrate the following experience and attributes:
- Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Compliance, or a related discipline
- Experience in HR administration and/or compliance support
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience using HRIS systems (ELMO experience highly regarded)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and compliance standards
- Ability to take ownership of tasks, identify priorities, and ensure obligations are met accurately and on time.
Essential Requirements:
- Police clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
- Valid WA “C” Class Driver's Licence
