About the Role We are currently seeking a People & Culture Business Partner to join our growing People & Culture team.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this strategic partnering role supports operational leaders across a designated state portfolio, providing advice and guidance across workforce planning, organisational design, employee relations, leadership capability, culture and change initiatives.
Working closely with State General Managers and operational leaders, you will act as a trusted advisor, helping shape workforce strategy and supporting Avina's ongoing growth and transformation journey.
What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with leaders to support workforce planning and organisational effectiveness
- Provide advice and coaching across employee relations, performance and workplace matters
- Support organisational change, workforce transition and transformation initiatives
- Build leadership capability through coaching and practical people advice
- Contribute to organisational development, talent and succession planning activities
- Analyse workforce insights and trends to support decision making
- Partner with stakeholders to drive engagement, culture and people initiatives
- Work collaboratively with leaders across geographically dispersed teams

What You'll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Organisational Development or a related discipline
- Experience as a HR Business Partner, People & Culture Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or similar partnering role
- Experience supporting leaders with employee relations, workforce planning, organisational development or change initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Commercial mindset with the ability to balance people outcomes and business objectives
- Ability to work autonomously while partnering with leaders across multiple locations
- Strong communication, influencing and coaching capability
Experience within healthcare, allied health, disability, community services or NDIS environments will be highly regarded, however is not essential.
