Heavy Diesel Mechanics / Diesel Fitters - LOCAL/DIDO/FIFO
BDS Mechanical Repairs AUS Pty Ltd is seeking experienced LV Mechanics, Heavy Diesel Mechanics, and Diesel Fitters to join our growing team. We offer full-time and casual opportunities across local, DIDO, and FIFO roles, with flexible rosters designed to support a healthy work–life balance.

With fully equipped workshops and a fleet of more than 160 field service vehicles covering over 600,000 km², our experienced team is committed to keeping customers moving with quality workmanship, responsive service, and dependable support.
Your duties will include:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including major and minor rebuilds
- Perform general repairs and maintenance - depending on position/qualifications you will work on trucks, trailers, earthmoving, fixed and mobile plant AG, etc.
- Replace and repair vehicle engines, steering systems, transmissions, and braking components
- Inspect and test vehicle lighting systems
- Conduct test drives to assess vehicle performance and functionality
- Maintain accurate service and repair records for all vehicles
- Follow and complete inspection procedures using established checklists
The successful candidates will possess the following:
- Relevant Trade Qualification
- Valid license
- Diagnostic experience
- Good communication skills
- Strong fault finding skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Extra skills, experience, tickets and licences will be advantageous
