How will you make a difference?
The Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities within a radiator manufacturing facility, L&M Radiator, based in Welshpool. This role ensures maintenance work is completed efficiently with minimal disruption to production operations while maximizing equipment reliability, safety, product quality, and operational up time.
The scheduler works closely with Production & Maintenance and Stores personnel to develop maintenance schedules, manage work orders, coordinate shutdowns, and ensure resources, spare parts, and labour are available to support business objectives.
What will your typical day look like?
Planning and scheduling all preventative and corrective maintenance activities
Prioritising work orders based on risk, production impact, and safety considerations
Coordinating maintenance resources and parts and liaising between production and maintenance teams
Ensuring compliance with manufacturer’s operational guidelines, safety compliance, project specific compliance and statutory requirements
Analysing maintenance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Conduct advanced fault-finding on machinery
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and environmental requirements.
Support lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and permit-to-work systems.
Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Ensure maintenance documentation meets regulatory and quality standards.
What do we want to know about you?
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or manufacturing maintenance environments.
Experience within radiator manufacturing, automotive component manufacturing, metal fabrication, or heavy industrial operations preferred.
Effective organisational, time management, multi-tasking, and communication skills
Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
