The opportunity
As Civil Designer, you’ll be utilising your skillset and prior experience in designing roadside and drainage project designs, working with our internal and external stakeholders during the design phase, and providing advice and information during construction to all parties involved, both internally and externally.
This position requires a high level of time-management, communications and design skillsets, allowing you to provide timely and accurate, detailed designs and survey specifications, executing works and documentation for projects to best industry practice.
- This is a permanent opportunity – working full-time 35 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement
- Base Salary Range: $85,497 - $115,676 pa based on 35 hours / week + 12% Superannuation + Motor Vehicle Allowance + Civil Liability Allowance + Retention Allowance
- You will be working from PSC Administration Building, Raymond Terrace

- Tertiary qualification in Civil or Structural design or working towards
- Current Drivers Licence
- Proficiency using road design software
- Strong local knowledge and deep understanding of Australian standards, guidelines, and the nuances of Local Government

- You possess sharp, rational thinking and a practical mindset
