We run a precise, fast-paced production kitchen and provide extensive internal training to help you master our specialized processes. Perfect for a structured kitchen professional (e.g., experienced production kitchen hand, catering cook, or high-volume prep cook) who excels in a routine-driven environment.
The Role
You will take ownership of the daily preparation of our premium flavor menu. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Production: Accurately measuring, mixing, pasteurising, and churning gelato according to company recipes.
- Quality Control: Ensuring rigorous consistency in taste, texture, and visual presentation.
- Hygiene: Strict adherence to HACCP and Food Safety protocols, including deep cleaning and sanitation of machinery.
- Inventory: Tracking raw ingredients, managing stock rotation, and receiving supplier orders.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 1–2 years of full-time experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen (prep cook, baking, pastry, or line cook).
- Precision: Exceptional focus on weights, temperatures, timings, and exact recipe compliance.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for long periods and lift ingredients weighing up to 15-20kg.
- Availability: Capacity to work a fixed, structured production schedule (includes 2 consecutive days off).
- Rights to Work: Unrestricted Australian working rights are mandatory.
