As a Support Worker with Bliss Nursing, you will provide compassionate, client-focused care across home, community, and supported accommodation settings. Working alongside experienced healthcare professionals, you will help create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment while empowering clients to reach their full potential.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with personal care and daily living activities.
- Supporting clients with meal preparation, medication assistance (where appropriate), and household tasks.
- Promoting client independence, choice, and community participation.
- Providing emotional support and building positive relationships with clients and their families.
- Monitoring client wellbeing and reporting any concerns to supervisors.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and client records.
- Working collaboratively with nurses, coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Following all workplace health and safety, infection control, and organisational policies.
Requirements for Success
- Experience working in disability support, aged care, community services, or healthcare.
- A genuine passion for helping others and delivering person-centred care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Current National Police Check.
- Current Working With Children Check (where required).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport (preferred).
