We are seeking a Service Engineer to join our team in Silverwater, NSW. This is a full-time opportunity for a qualified engineering professional with 1–2 years of relevant experience in building automation, mechanical, electrical or a related engineering discipline.
As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning and technical support for Building Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS) across a range of commercial sites.
Working closely with clients, contractors and internal teams, you will ensure building automation systems operate efficiently, identify opportunities for system improvements and deliver high-quality service that meets contractual and customer requirements.
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections and servicing of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS) at client sites.
Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve faults in building automation and control systems to minimise downtime.
Carry out testing, commissioning and functional checks to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.
Review mechanical, electrical and control system drawings, specifications and technical documentation to support service activities.
Prepare accurate service reports, technical documentation and recommendations following site visits.
Identify opportunities to improve system performance, energy efficiency, reliability and operational outcomes for clients.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors and internal teams by providing professional technical support.
Respond to service call-outs and provide timely technical assistance to meet customer and contractual requirements.
Support the delivery of minor engineering works and special projects, including coordinating materials, subcontractors and project documentation where required.
A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Automation Engineering or another relevant Engineering Technologist discipline.
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in a similar engineering or service engineering role.
Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS) or building automation technologies will be highly regarded.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, technical documentation and control systems.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to work independently while building strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
Full-time permanent opportunity.
$80,000 - $95,000 base salary + superannuation + company vehicle.
