SA Construct is recruiting experienced commercial roof plumbers and roofers for ongoing projects across Adelaide.
We are looking for tradespeople who understand commercial roofing, take pride in completing work properly and want to be part of a reliable site team.
You will work across commercial and industrial projects installing roofing, flashings, rainwater systems and associated building envelope components.
The role
Depending on your experience, your work may include:
- installation of commercial metal roofing systems;
- roof sheets, flashings, cappings and penetrations;
- gutters, downpipes and rainwater goods;
- insulation, safety mesh and roof components;
- reading drawings and setting out work;
- operating EWPs and other access equipment;
- completing quality checks and defect rectification;
- supporting apprentices and less experienced workers; and
- working safely at heights and around other construction activities.
About you
You will have:
- commercial or industrial roofing experience;
- a strong understanding of safe work at heights;
- good practical skills and attention to detail;
- the ability to work productively as part of a crew;
- a current White Card;
- reliable transport and a current driver’s licence; and
- Australian working rights.
We are also interested in experienced roofers who may not hold every qualification but can demonstrate strong commercial capability.
