SENIOR SCHOOL TEACHER - TAS
PERMANENT, FULL-TIME
Cranbrook School is seeking an outstanding teacher of Technological and Applied Studies
(TAS) to join our dynamic Senior School teaching team.
ABOUT THE POSITION
This is a permanent full-time position based at the Senior School campus in Bellevue Hill.
Teachers at Cranbrook take an active and enthusiastic part in the full life of the School,
including involvement in the School’s co-curricular program requiring work outside normal
teaching hours.

remuneration and benefits. The salary range for this position is $101,349 - $143,172 per
annum plus superannuation.

SELECTION CRITERIA
— NESA accreditation to teach in New South Wales (required)
— Demonstrated skills in teaching one or more of the following: HSC Design and
Technology, HSC Industrial Technology, HSC Construction, HSC Software Engineering, IB
Diploma Design Technology or IB Computer Science
— Sound knowledge and understanding of the NSW Curriculum and current teaching and
learning theory and practice
— Capacity to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the
diverse needs of all learners through varied teaching strategies and pedagogical
practices to maximise learning
— Experience with a range of online platforms, including Learning Management Systems,
to support learning and provide feedback
— Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction and cater to diverse learning needs
— Creative mindset and ability to design interactive and dynamic lessons
— Organisational skills to manage schedules, events and student records
— A level of mobility that supports the ability to respond to a first aid / behavioural
incident
— Strong physical, mental and emotional health to deal with the required demands and
responsibilities of the role
— Current First Aid and CPR qualifications
— A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
— A demonstrated understanding of child safety and appropriate behaviours when
engaging with children.
