We are a leading hospitality provider located along the iconic Great Northern Highway in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
We are currently seeking motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team.
The main duties include, but are not limited to:
Oversee daily front office operations including reservations, guest check in/check out, and concierge services.
- Coordinate and monitor housekeeping, room service, and maintenance activities to ensure high standards of cleanliness and functionality.
- Supervise bar, restaurant, and event operations, ensuring smooth service during functions and conferences.
- Enforce compliance with liquor licensing, gaming, and relevant hospitality laws and regulations.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by resolving complaints promptly and conducting routine service quality checks.
- Support budgeting and cost control by overseeing purchasing, stock control, and basic accounting tasks.
- Maintain effective safety and emergency protocols, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor property security, liaise with security personnel, and manage incident reporting procedures.
- Provide guests with accurate local area information, and assist in arranging transportation, tours, and external services.
- Train, supervise, and mentor staff to deliver excellent service and uphold company standards.
- Assist with rostering and shift handovers, ensuring sufficient staffing during operational hours.
- Prepare and submit shift and incident reports to senior management as required.
The suitable applicants should:
- Hold an AQF Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent; OR have at least three years of relevant experience in a hotel, motel, or lodge.
- Hold a current WA Approved Manager's Card and RSA certificate or be willing to obtain prior to commencement.
- Have demonstrated experience supervising front office, housekeeping, or food and beverage teams.
- Have a working knowledge of WA liquor licensing, work health and safety, and food safety legislation.
- Have strong leadership, customer service, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
- Be available to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The employer will offer:
- A full-time contract for at least 3 years, extendable for further term.
- An annual salary of $75,000 - $80,000 (negotiable) + superannuation will be offered to the successful candidates with relevant qualification and experience.
