Summary:
We are seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring their Portfolio of assets (mostly retail) are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:

Follow and support the development of an existing to comprehensive facilities management plan
- Manage all aspects of facility maintenance per asset agreement, which may include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and landscaping
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment and machinery
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes
- Manage existing vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for services and supplies
- Develop and manage budgets for facility maintenance and repairs
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that facilities meet their needs
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans
Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Experience managing budgets and negotiating contracts
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field
