Okami Japanese Restaurant – Geelong West is currently looking for 2 Front of House / Wait Staff to join our team:
- 1 Full-Time Position
- 1 Part-Time Position
Location: Geelong West, VIC
Approximate Working Hours:
- Tuesday – Thursday: 4:30/5:00pm – 9:00/9:30pm
- Friday – Saturday: 4:00/4:30pm – 9:30/10:00pm
- Sunday: 11:00am – 2:00/2:30pm 4:30/5:00pm – 9:00/9:30pm
- Monday: Closed
Main Duties:
Greeting customers, taking orders, serving food and drinks, clearing tables, and assisting with general front-of-house duties.
Requirements:
- Must have valid Australian working rights
- Reliable, punctual and responsible
- Friendly with good customer service skills
- Able to communicate and work well as part of a team
- Previous restaurant, hospitality or customer service experience is preferred
- No experience is also welcome – training can be provided
- Applicants who are available regularly, especially on Friday and Saturday, will be preferred
- Basic English communication skills suitable for restaurant service are required
Pay: Negotiable depending on experience and in accordance with applicable Australian award rates.
We are looking for team members who are interested in stable and long-term employment.
Staff dinner is provided during evening shifts.
