We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef to join our busy hospitality team. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, managing kitchen operations and contributing to menu development.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing, cooking and presenting a variety of dishes.
Planning menus and estimating food and labour costs.
Monitoring food quality and presentation standards.
Supervising kitchen staff and coordinating food preparation.
Managing stock levels, ordering supplies and minimising wastage.
Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
Assisting with menu development and seasonal specials.
Skills and Experience
Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or related field.
Minimum two years' relevant experience as a Chef.
Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
