About the role
A Group Pty. Ltd is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Therapist to join our team in our Mobile dental setup serving schools in southeast suburbs, VIC. This is a full-time or part time position that plays a vital role in delivering high-quality oral healthcare to our patients. As a Dental Therapist, you will work collaboratively with dentists and the broader dental team to provide preventative and therapeutic dental care in schools.
What you'll be doing
- Providing preventative dental care including scaling, polishing and fluoride application
- Applying dental sealants and topical fluoride treatments to prevent tooth decay
- Taking dental radiographs (X-rays) and processing them for clinical assessment
- Educating school on oral hygiene practices and preventative dental care
- Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records in accordance with dental regulations
- Sterilizing and maintaining dental equipment and instruments to the highest standards
- Managing School appointments and ensuring efficient on site operations
- Conducting initial patient assessments and risk evaluations
- Working within a team environment to deliver comprehensive patient care
What we're looking for
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain it
- Strong clinical knowledge of preventative and therapeutic dental procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and team members
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative dental team
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control
- A patient-focused approach with a commitment to providing compassionate care
- Working with children is must.

- Current registration with the AHPRA as a Dental Therapist

Pay: $65,880.89 – $145,943.82 per year
