What will you do?
As our Business Development Manager, you’ll be a key growth driver for Localsearch in Adelaide - identifying, pursuing and securing new business opportunities within your assigned regional market, backed and supported by our Head Office Teams based in Robina on the Gold Coast. You’ll act as a trusted adviser to local and regional businesses, helping them harness the power of digital marketing while establishing Localsearch’s presence in a brand new territory.
- Identify, prospect and develop new business opportunities within your regional market, with a focus on small-to-medium businesses seeking digital marketing solutions.
- Develop and execute a regional market entry strategy, including industry mapping, competitor analysis and target client segmentation.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, consistently achieving and exceeding your individual revenue targets and KPIs.
- Conduct face-to-face and virtual client meetings to present tailored digital marketing solutions, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, website development and listings management.
- Build strong relationships with business owners, operators and key decision-makers, positioning Localsearch as the go-to digital partner in your region.
- Represent Localsearch at local networking events, industry associations and business expos to raise brand awareness and generate leads.
Who are you & what will you bring?
We’re looking for a driven, self-motivated sales professional who thrives on building something from the ground up and loves the challenge of a new market.
Required:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a field-based B2B sales role, with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Proven ability to independently develop a new market or territory from the ground up - prospecting, pitching and closing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of a business.
- Current driver’s licence, with the flexibility for regular travel within your regional territory.
Nice to have:
- Experience in digital marketing, media, advertising or technology sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar) and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
