The Role
Reporting to the Building Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the complex. Your primary focus will be on the physical presentation, security, and maintenance of the common property, ensuring it meets the standards expected by residents and the Owners Corporation.
Please note: This role focuses on the physical management and maintenance of the building's common property.
It is not a strata (Owners Corporation) management role involving financials, levies, or by-law enforcement.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct inspections and supervise cleaning contractors to ensure all common areas (entrance, lobbies, lifts, hallways, basements, gym, and recreation areas) are maintained.
· Assist in the supervision and coordination of repairs and maintenance works.
· Obtain quotes for property-related works, materials, and services.
· Liaise with the Owners Corporation Committee regarding maintenance
· Monitor compliance with building rules and report serious or persistent breaches.
· Schedule and coordinate resident move-ins/move-outs to minimise disruption.
· Build strong professional relationships with residents, contractors, and the Owners Corporation Committee.
· Assist in office administration duties such as record keeping and printing notices.
What you bring
· Proven experience in a similar hands-on building management, facilities management, or property management role.
· An ability to quickly understand cleaning standards, maintenance procedures, and contractor management.
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
· Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
· Proficiency with basic computer systems for record keeping and reporting.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
