H2O Cafe Restaurant in Narrabeen is looking for a friendly, reliable and hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will support the Restaurant Manager with daily operations, lead the front-of-house team during busy services and help maintain excellent customer service standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervising and supporting front-of-house staff
- Managing busy breakfast, lunch and dinner services
- Opening and closing the restaurant
- Training staff and delegating daily duties
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving complaints
- Assisting with rosters, stock control and supplier orders
- Cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation
- Maintaining food safety, cleanliness and presentation standards
- Supporting functions, group bookings and special events
- Working closely with the kitchen and bar teams
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader in a café or restaurant
- Strong leadership and customer-service skills
- Confident working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Experience with stock control, staff training and daily operations
- Current NSW RSA
- Valid Australian work rights
- Weekend availability is essential, including Saturdays and Sunday
Full-time or part-time position available, approximately 20–38 hours per week.
Pay: $31.30–$35 per hour, plus superannuation.
Pay: $31.30 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
