About the role
Provide strategic leadership and operational direction for Outpatient Services at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care across a large and complex service environment. This role is responsible for overseeing outpatient operations, driving service reform and innovation, and ensuring performance aligns with organisational objectives and state-wide specialist outpatient initiatives.
You will lead the planning, coordination, and management of outpatient services, including specialist clinics, virtual health services, telehealth support, and waitlist management. The role involves working collaboratively with executive leadership and key stakeholders to develop and implement innovative models of care, optimise service capacity, and improve patient outcomes, while maintaining compliance with policy, performance targets, and quality standards.
