The Physiotherapy Department at GV Health are actively on the lookout for local physiotherapists to join our team in a casual capacity. The role is suitable for experienced grade 1 and grade 2 physiotherapists, particularly those with hospital experience who are able to work independently. The role will be largely based at the Graham St campus in Shepparton. Working as a casual with our team may include working occasional weekends or public holidays, or weekday cover as your availability allows. This role is essential to delivering high-quality services to patients across the continuum of care at GV Health from the emergency department through to rehabilitation and outpatients as required.
Our team consists of physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and allied health assistants and form part of the wider allied health and multi-disciplinary teams. As a casual you may be required to work across any or all of our usual clinical areas depending on your experience including but not limited to:
- Acute Medical
- Emergency Department
- Acute Surgical
- Outpatients
- Subacute (Rehabilitation & GEM)
- ICU/Respiratory
- Paediatrics
- Maternity
- Aged Care
As a casual physiotherapist, you will work closely with the Senior Grade 3 Physiotherapists and the Physiotherapy Manager to provide high level physiotherapy services including the assessment, treatment and management of patients with a variety of clinical conditions, give your clinical expertise to complex cases, and work effectively with our team to ensure the physiotherapy service meets organisational goals including optimising patient flow, facilitating safe discharge and ensuring quality patient outcomes.
