NDIS Support Worker
We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic support worker to assist a male participant in his late 30s.
The participant has low-level Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and a mild intellectual disability. He is highly independent, works full-time, and requires minimal support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting participants to stay active and engaged in the community.
About the Role:
- Early morning gym sessions (before work)
- Community access and social outings
- Assistance with transport to and from appointments and activities
- Providing encouragement, companionship, and promoting independence
Requirements:
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle (essential)
- Ability to transport the participant, as he is not currently driving
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid & CPR
- Excellent communication skills
- Friendly, patient, and reliable with a person-centred approach
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Is compassionate and enjoys supporting others
- Is punctual and dependable for early morning starts
- Can build rapport while respecting the participant's independence
- Has an interest in health and fitness (preferred but not essential)
