Female Registered Nurse (RN) – Community Clinical Care | Howard Springs
GNA Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Female Registered Nurse (RN) to provide community-based clinical care to a participant in Howard Springs, Northern Territory.
This role offers a flexible opportunity for an experienced RN looking to provide quality clinical care in a community/home-care environment.
Position Details
- Location: Howard Springs, NT
- Employment Type: Casual / Contract
- Hours: Approximately 12 clinical care visits per month
- Approximate Hours: 12 hours per month
- Service: Community-based clinical care visits
About the Role
The successful Registered Nurse will provide scheduled clinical care visits, delivering high-quality nursing support while promoting the participant's health, wellbeing, safety and independence.
You will work collaboratively with the participant, family members, support team and other healthcare professionals to ensure care is delivered in accordance with the participant's individual care plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional clinical nursing care in accordance with individual care plans.
- Conduct scheduled health assessments and clinical monitoring.
- Administer and manage clinical interventions as required.
- Monitor the participant's health and wellbeing.
- Identify and report changes in health status or clinical concerns.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes.
- Liaise with the participant, family members, support workers and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow relevant legislation, professional standards and organisational policies.
- Maintain a high standard of person-centred and respectful care.
Essential Requirements
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated clinical nursing experience.
- Experience in community, disability, aged care or home-care settings is preferred.
- Current National Police Check.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
- Access to a reliable vehicle.
- Strong communication and clinical documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage scheduled visits effectively.
