About the role
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator / Aluminum Fabricator to join our dynamic team at Make It Group in Bayswater, Western Australia. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and manufacturing of high-quality metal products, contributing to the growth and success of our business.
What you'll be doing
- Interpret anything from fabrication drawings to basic sketches to fabricate and assemble a variety of sheet metal and aluminium products
- Operate cutting, bending, rolling and welding equipment to shape and join metal components
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all health and safety protocols
What we're looking for
- Strong capability and experience in aluminum welding (TIG or Laser)
- Demonstrated experience as a Sheet Metal Fabricator or Aluminum Fabricator, preferably within the Trades & Services industry
- Strong technical skills in operating sheet metal fabrication equipment, including cutting, bending, rolling and the like.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to ensure high-quality workmanship
