The Firehouse Ringwood is a restaurant and beer garden set in the old Ringwood Firestation.
We are looking to expand on our amazing bar team with some new vibrant and passionate bartenders/waiters. Whether you're a hospo veteran or an eager newbie wanting to learn, we are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, friendly and keen to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in a fast-paced environment
- Process sales through the POS, including accurate cash handling and eftpos transactions
- Maintain the organisation and cleanliness of the bar and restaurant
- Assist with restocking the fridges and dry goods
- Provide friendly customer service
- Uphold the Responsible Service of Alcohol under current legislation
- Work on a rotating roster from Monday to Sunday
What we are looking for
- Experience working behind the bar or restaurant, will be highly regarded
- An understanding of mixing and serving drinks
- Passionate, driven and have a genuine interest in hospitality
- Someone who is a team player, has great communication skills and a hands on attitude
The Firehouse pays the General Hospitality Award rates. These figures change regularly and at the time of posting this job for a Grade 2 position were $33.85 + superannuation per hour to $67.70 + superannuation per hour plus penalty rates when applicable.
Pay: $33.85 – $67.70 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
